Philanthropy

At Alpha Xi Delta, service is at the heart of our sisterhood. Our national philanthropic focus is the Kindly Hearts Initiative, which supports children and teens experiencing foster care or homelessness. Through this initiative, we work to raise awareness, volunteer our time, and fundraise to directly benefit local organizations making a difference in these areas.The Theta Sigma Chapter at UCF proudly supports R.I.S.E. (Restore, Inspire, Support, Empower) Communities, a program of Orlando-based Embrace Families. R.I.S.E. provides crucial resources for youth transitioning out of foster care, helping them build independence, stability, and confidence as they step into adulthood.How We Give BackOur chapter hosts a variety of signature events and fundraisers throughout the year to benefit the Kindly Hearts Initiative and R.I.S.E. Communities, including:The AmaXIng Challenge – Our largest annual fundraising event, where sisters, friends, and community members come together for fun competitions that raise funds for our philanthropy.Letters of Love – A nationwide campaign where we invite friends, family, and supporters to donate in honor of our mission.Service Projects – Beyond fundraising, our sisters volunteer directly with local organizations, helping provide resources, mentorship, and support for youth in need.Through these efforts, Theta Sigma sisters strive to live out our values by making a tangible impact in our community and beyond. Together, we raise awareness, provide resources, and inspire hope for those who need it most.

The Kindly Hearts Initiative
The Kindly Hearts Initiative serves as the umbrella to our national philanthropic focus of supporting children and teens experiencing foster care or homelessness. Alpha Xi Deltas across the country support two Key Impact Organizations, FosterClub and StandUp for Kids, making a national and regional difference under the umbrella of our focus. Letters of Love
All Alpha Xi Delta chapters and alumnae associations participate in Letters of Love, Alpha Xi Delta’s national letter writing fundraising campaign. Held annually during the month of November this campaign benefits Alpha Xi Delta’s two Key Impact Organizations, StandUp for Kids and FosterClub. To learn more about Letters of Love, click here.
