Alpha Xi Delta

Theta Sigma at University of Central Florida

Chapter Philanthropy

Our local philanthropy benefits Autism Speaks. Every year we volunteer in the Autism Awareness walk and are the biggest organization to participate along with being the biggest donor to the foundation. Every year, our Chapter partners up with Delta Upsilon fraternity to hold a Dodgeball competition. We were able to raise $11,500 for autism awareness this past Fall. In addition to our Fall Philanthropy event, our main fundraising event in the Spring is our annual Xi Man competition. Each fraternity on campus selects a representative to compete in our male pageant and with the help of his brothers he competes in our Xi Man field day, sells t-shirts, and performs a talent at the pageant. All of the money and supplies raised are donated directly to Autism Speaks and the representative who excels in the competition is granted the title of Xi Man, or our sorority sweetheart.

Theta Sigma's philanthropic efforts aren't limited to UCF and the greater Orlando area. We have participated in national organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the Ronald McDonald House, as well as other Greek organization's philanthropies. Our chapter embraces the opportunity to serve others. Helping out those in need strengthens our sisterhood and reinforces the ideals that Alpha Xi Delta was founded upon.
